Naturism: A way of life in harmony with nature characterized by the practice of communal nudity with the intention of encouraging self-respect, respect for others and the world we live in.

The purpose of this site is to provide a place for sharing information and making new friends who are interested in a nudist/naturist lifestyle. We hope you will use this as an opportunity to "take a break from the tensions of daily life" and learn more about nudism/naturism and enjoying this natural lifestyle.

Less is more...our perspective...

When you are free from "cover ups", "clothes or titles of any kind",  you are then, simply yourself!   Why shouldn't we love being ourselves?   Body acceptance is the greatest gift - and you can give it to yourself!   Being yourself is  what living the Naturist/Nudist lifestyle is all about.   It is the way we were  made.  Don't be brainwashed by all the advertisers who show only models and body builders on the covers of magazines.  Most people want to be fit and healthy, but being fit and healthy doesn't mean that you have to be a body builder or have the body structure of a model.  Being healthy should be our goal, but while you try to attain that goal, learn to love yourself the way you are RIGHT NOW !    Once you accept you for you, the path to becoming whatever you want to be is so much more easy to follow.  Work on whatever health issues you might need to address, but most of all, be kind to yourself and learn to be comfortable in your own skin - the clothes you were born in!

Bill and I have had the opportunity to visit nudist resorts and we meet with nudist friends at our home and in their homes.  We try to "out cook" each other,  we talk about kids and our pets, we share joy and also sadness.  We like to think we are part of a large family.   Many groups revolve around a true family atmosphere and so far, any nudist groups that we have visited were made up of happy, relaxed folks who are not at all concerned with what YOU or I might think isn't "perfect" about OUR BODY.  The people we have met are  just themselves - just like you and me!  There have been children present many times and we have not seen or heard anything that would be inappropriate for ANYONE to see or hear!  And if that ever happened, we would confront the issue immediately!     We hope to bring out grand children to Naturist resorts and our hope is that all children would learn that people come in all colors, shapes and sizes and that the human form is something to be appreciated - not something that is bad or naughty.  Thankfully, children seem to take everything in stride - what a great way to grow up -  learning  to respect yourself and others - growing up without the shame that the textile world often equates with being "undressed".

Naturist/Nudist groups work to be sure that You (and your friends and families)  and I have the opportunity to enjoy recreation in the nude.  We should all support our local groups and the Regional/National Organizations that work so hard to make this possible.

Why not visit a Nudist Resort, a nude beach or a local Club - nobody will "try to force you" or try to "make you do anything" you are not comfortable with. We are not "Colonies" and Nudist Organizations are not  "sex" clubs or "Swingers" clubs (but people are still individuals - if you encounter someone who makes you uncomfortable - speak out- this is not the kind of person who is welcome).  We are decent families, couples  or singles.  We are people who believe that we should have the freedom to enjoy nude recreation in a social atmosphere.

If you haven't ever gone a day without waking up and instantly putting on your clothes, why not treat yourself to the ultimate in comfort, wear the most beautiful outerwear of all, your skin.  Try the nudist experience at home - let the kids spend the night with friends if you aren't ready to share this new experience with them just yet - relax and  take off your clothes and see how good it feels - who knows - it could open up a new way of life for you!

New experiences can be intimidating, so go slow, start enjoying being textile free at home.  You will learn to love the freedom and want to meet others that feel just as you do.  Most Nudist organizations have outings where interested persons can join them at a community event (where everyone wears clothes), yes, we are members of the Kiwanis, Rotary, Churches and the PTA.    You can meet some folks and determine that their interests are similar to your own.  Then you can take the big step - visit them at their "clothing optional" location - I know you will be pleasantly surprised and you will be amazed at how relaxed and welcome you will be.  Try something exciting!  Experience something new!  Enjoy being nude at home, at a designated nude beach or at a resort.  Be Natural - if you will only try it - you might decide you like it!

Just think, you couldn't imagine the taste of an apple if you had never tasted one - Enjoy!
Hi, We're Bill and 'Lidi' (I'm also known as the DragonLady, but that's another story).  Thanks for visiting our site, we're glad you have taken a few minutes to relax and check out the naturist world.  We (actually Bill does all the web work), put this site together as a way to meet new people who share interests similar to our own.

We met in 1997 and discovered that we were both nudists at heart, which meant that as soon as we got home, the clothes came off and we lived "au natural".   Once we got to know each other better, we fell in love, got married and found the perfect place to live.  We know how lucky we are to live on 10 acres where we don't have a lot of close neighbors, and we can (and DO) enjoy being nude as much as possible.  Our home, which we call "Dragonfly" has lots of trees, and we are always planting more.  Most days, we enjoy the freedom and joy of living "textile free".   My Mom lived with us (now deceased), sometimes she would get a little smile on her face as she watched all of us running around in nothing but our tennis shoes, sunscreen and  hats!  It's really nice to have families that "understand" and support the things you enjoy!.

We started this site during the summer of 1999, and received great feedback from many visitors.  It's great reading your comments!  Hopefully, you will find lots of interesting things to explore on our site and the links we provide- if you would like us to add your link to our site, just click here.   In the meantime - check out our little family and meet  Bear, our bossy Rottweiler (who is sadly departed - in July 2001), Spencer, our patient 12 year-old Golden Retriever (who also has recently passed away (2006), Holly, our Boston Terrier, born August 2, 2001 (who is also sadly departed in April 2007) our grand old Arabian Mare, Eryal - who is 31 in January 2008. Our newest addition is a Pug that's about a year and a half old who is a Hurricane Katrina victim. We got him on December 22, 2006. We named him "Satchimoto" but we call him Satch or Satchmo (actually because of the area he's from - New Orleans.)  And our latese - another rescue - Ozzy our Boxer (about 7 months old).
Let us hear from you - we'd love to know about your favorite website, a great vacation destination or just the perfect way to spend a weekend - SHARE IT WITH US,.
Welcome to our site, we hope you visit often!

Naturally,

Lidi (The DragonLady) and Bill
